Apparently he’s told some A list actor he has them in mind.

Its kinda weird to see some of those characters coming back though. Thrawn too. I mean, there was a reason they decided those guys were not a part of the story anymore.
No, there wasn't. They went away from all the old extended universe. But they have used a lot of those ideas in the book/comics/games/cartoon shows, and even some things in the movies. The reason they did it, was because they wanted to be free to create as they wanted.

Obviously, I'm half kidding. Just to be clear. But that was a large part of why they threw out all of the old stories. Obviously, the MAIN reason was to have freedom to do what they wanted with Ep 7-9.

But... what if they... didn't .... talk about her... ?
OR what if they do talk about her and Luke checks in with Leia in ROTJ to verify what Ahsoka said, like he doesn't totally believe or trust her and who she is because Obi-Wan an Yoda never mentioned her. Maybe he's skeptical of her and what she has to say and those scenes in Return take on a whole new context.
