Pelosi saying separately that A) impeachment is worth losing the House over and B) she’s got flipping TX in her sights for 2020. This is an extremely savvy politician who’s spent two years biting her tongue now swinging her dick around the political press on a Saturday night.

Whatever is happening behind the scenes re: impeachment, she doesn’t seem remotely worried about it.

Was thinking the exact same thing. They got slaughtered on the weekend news circuit, and I think it's really telling. My best guess is that the power brokers behind the scenes -- the Kochs and their ilk -- are sending mixed messages ranging from "Dump Trump and maybe you'll hold onto the Senate" to "Dump Trump and maybe lose the Senate, but we can work with Pence if he's willing to wield the pen." I'm guessing it's chaos on their side of the aisle, and it's all stemming from "We're fucked but we don't know yet how best to mitigate it."
