There is a trial period going on in the Netherlands with a reduced library now. I saw a few articles were folks were happy that there was a lot of older Marvel animated shows on there.

Yeah, I've seen that, too. Unfortunately, too early to know if Disney has the US streaming rights:

I've got a blu-ray player, damned if I know the brand right now, but it's got an app for youtube, netflix, hulu, and amazon. Better fucking have one for disney.

I've already floated the new TV balloon a few times and it keeps getting shot down. I'd really like a 4k set and the demos I put in front of her are amazing but she's not into it yet. That 4k Fire TV from Toshiba keeps being under $200 too.
