Guys, i dont get it. If Mara Jade is not going to be Mara Jade. THEN ITS A DIFFERENT CHARACTER.

Why name her Mara Jade? Cant these guys come up with new characters?

Or maybe it's the same character and she makes different choices or different things happen to her. A character is defined by more than banging Luke fucking Skywalker.

Where do you bring her in at this point? We’re done with Luke. Don’t see how it could be done?
Many complained about Solo saying it could have been an awesome film about a new character instead of an average film made more disappointing because it was Han Solo and by that alone it should have been awesome.

If they’ve done inquisitors and thrawn etc it’s really late in the game to start telling stories about the emperors hand. People will also ask hang on, wasn’t Vader the emperors hand?

The latest thrawn book had the emperor and Tarkin and Krennic in it. That would have been the place if any.

Or just set the story somewhere in all that space between III & IV or IV & V ... or alter her character a bit and make her someone who helped start the First Order. Maybe she worked with Snoke. Maybe Snoke usurped her.

There are literally thousands of options. It doesn't have to be the way it was once upon a time, is all I'm saying.

Nah it won’t happen. Many give her her own comic series as the hand? That could work. Keep all things skywalker out of it though. An keep Skywalkers cock out of her too mainly.

Because you are changing basically the core aspects of Mara Jade.

You want a new different character with the same name.
