I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Aroma of Man has released a brief band statement saying they are deeply saddened by the news of Ginger's passing and know that he will "stir some shit up" when he catches up with Stevie and Lemmy at the next great gig in the sky. In his honour the remaining members will be performing a short residency at the The Busted Nut where they will play brief, all-acoustic sets in between dancers. The band are contractually obligated to mention The Busted Nut's special happy hours Thirsty Thursday and Fall Down Flat on Your face, Fully Fucked Up Friday.

Fuck! I thought you were talking about the Australian Muso who fronted the Go Betweens and released an album only this past year.

I'm glad that Robert Forster is still with us, but of course I'm sad the other ain't.
