yeah, that's one that's going to stay with you due to circumstances.washing machine wrote:I knew it!tragabigzanda wrote:Guys I fucking love this album now
This album will forever be connected to my first week as a father. Every night at approx 4:00am I’ve gotten up with my son and listened to this while calming him down. It’s given me a unique perspective on the feel of these songs. Sun not quite up yet, most of the neighborhood sleeping away, train whistle blowing in the distance. It’s the perfect album for this special time. There’s no way I’ll ever be able to objectively assess this one.

Listening now via Spotify, at Quiet Amplifier now. I like the chill spacey vibes of the album. So far, I think I like "One and a Half Stars" best.

I was completely wrong, I was actually listening to Everyone Hides. That song has the grooving pop vibe. I also like Love Is Everywhere. It makes sense that I'm in the noodle brain region.darth_vedder wrote:Listening to that now, nice grooving pop vibe to it. I like.verb_to_trust wrote:My Favorite Song is the First Single (Beware)

Look, I was just talking about how much I like that album, and that song in particular, so this is a particularly strong statement to make.tragabigzanda wrote:That first guitar solo in We Were Lucky is the most thrilling Wilco guitar moment since the Impossible Germany solo, and a catalog highlight

I listened to The Whole Love while running an errand yesterday to see if I had any new perspectives on that one, but nope. I still really like Dawned on Me and Born Alone, but that's about it.
