Guys I fucking love this album now

I knew it!

This album will forever be connected to my first week as a father. Every night at approx 4:00am I’ve gotten up with my son and listened to this while calming him down. It’s given me a unique perspective on the feel of these songs. Sun not quite up yet, most of the neighborhood sleeping away, train whistle blowing in the distance. It’s the perfect album for this special time. There’s no way I’ll ever be able to objectively assess this one.

I was completely wrong, I was actually listening to Everyone Hides. That song has the grooving pop vibe. I also like Love Is Everywhere. It makes sense that I'm in the noodle brain region.

That first guitar solo in We Were Lucky is the most thrilling Wilco guitar moment since the Impossible Germany solo, and a catalog highlight

Look, I was just talking about how much I like that album, and that song in particular, so this is a particularly strong statement to make.
