I love it all. Loud records filling the space of my home. headphones. Streaming. Sharing in a collective emotional fireblast of a live show.

Yeah, there are things to like about all aspects. And the best live shows I've experienced have be truly remarkable and damn near transformative.

I actually looked at their calendar. Have the acts gotten much worse over the years? A lot of hacks and cover bands.

So, the new single is interesting. It has a SK classic vibe for sure, but at the same time feels fresh too.

Just got back from the show here. In my opinion, the new album sounds much better live than recorded. Not sure how much I'll listen to the latter, but very glad I got to hear the former.

I'd say they really lucked out with this drummer.

Just got home, the new songs are great live, the only songs are still great live, the songs off The Woods still are the best. Entertain! was fucking amazing tonight.

The new drummer is pretty solid considering she only had a few months to learn the songs / gell.

The last time they played Milwaukee they sold the Pabst out so fast it got moved to the Riverside (seats like 1000 more I think)
this time, the ticket sales were so bad for the Riverside (the bigger venue) they got moved back into the Pabst and still didn't sell it out.
That, however did not matter. The crowd was great. Carrie was really feeding off the energy, smiling the whole night uncontrollably, and dancing around like Carrie from pre-hiatus. They both really seemed to be having a lot of fun together.

I really do wonder if Janets beef, was adding now 2 members to the band, that's the new direction. The new songs sound great up with the old songs. And I know from reading other interviews Janet seems like a traditionalist. I remember her seeming happy when Quasi went back down to a 2 piece band after touring a few years with the bass player too. :/
