Why am I getting such a huge discrepancy between Mapmyrun and Strava?

Turns out when I draw it with Strava, it comes out to 10 miles. WTF?

A fair argument, but it still drew the map perfectly.

I'm afraid I'll never run again and it makes me so sad I can't stand it.

Did 22 miles on the stationary bike today, though.

When I was reading about my achilles problems I noticed there were different types. The most common variety was pain at the mid point of the tendon but there is also "insertional" achilles tendonitis. I guess that is when the pain is lower (like in the heel) and more stubborn to get rid of.

I was starting to think it was a stress fracture. But I'll look into this.

I'm pretty sure there are bursa in the heel that can get inflamed. Not sure if your pain is plantar fasciitis but that is stubborn as well.

Yeah, it's definitely not plantar fasciitis. I've had that before. This is very different.
