The belief in the UK media is that the ERG will vote for the new deal. Still many questions about DUP, those Tories that thrown out, the independents.

So in reading Jon Worth's latest flow chart, he still has the odds of an extension overwhelmingly in its favor. Thus, is this just an empty threat by Juncker?

Seems to be just supporting Johnson and sending a message to parliament. God knows at this stage. But only one day for all parties to review the full text is a big ask.
They’re gonna vote it down unless something really shocking happens.
Few of the expelled rebels have said they’ll support it going through.
Anyone’s guess until Saturday
