yeah, im sure JJ is going to explain that scene. Anakin was last seen as a ghost force spirit so it doesnt make sense he brought Kylo into the dark side. But Palps already talked with Rey so he could have talked to Kylo as well.

I think that might be a wildcard option. Rey being a clone or one of the kids Palpatine was experimenting on. Perhaps that dark Rey is just another clone? Who knows.

They could tie in loads of the plageuis legacy. He was into all that mad twisted evil genius experimenting stuff

No. The helmet is on a plinth in tfa and he’s talking to it with his own helmet on.

This shot in TROS has Kylo helmet off opening a box with the helmet in it and there’s some sort of smoke or vapor coming off it.

If that happens it'll reveal a lot. It will confirm so many things that we don't know. I don't think it's impossible that they'll show him. It makes sense, for sure. But if they do, it means they don't care if they answer a TON of speculation in advance of the film.
