Re: What are you playing?
I’m actually hating the batmobile less and less the more I play it. Getting the controls down has helped the second time around.

The sequel will be called Arkham Legacy.

I've played the arcade cabinet. It is fantastic. Really curious to see how it plays on Switch.Ello Sailor wrote:This game is dope.

Has anyone played Outer Worlds? Supposed to be an excellent class-struggle based, interplanetary Fallout-style RPG. Read a lot of good things about it.

I started reading reviews today--very positive all around. I believe it comes out Friday.Orpheus wrote:Has anyone played Outer Worlds? Supposed to be an excellent class-struggle based, interplanetary Fallout-style RPG. Read a lot of good things about it.

It does look great, but I've never been able to enjoy The Elder Scrolls or Fallout series'. I'll probably pass on this one.

Re: What are you playing?
I've been playing Shadow of War for the past few weeks and i'm pretty close to the end. It's pretty similar to Shadow of Mordor but with the added mechanism of recruiting and building orc armies. I know the game initially got a lot of flack for it's late game grind and paid boosts to get around the grind, but playing it now with no microtransactions and a nerfed/shortened endgame is actually pretty great. It's a minor grind but an enjoyable and rewarding one knowing that i don't have to do it 20+ times to get the final cutscene.

This is the value of Game Pass. I’m not sure I’d ever buy Outer Worlds, but its day one to Game Pass so I’ll check it out. I’ve discovered games that way. I’ve never been a Fallout guy myself but worth a shot.

Re: What are you playing?
I just finished the base Spider-Man game. Loads of fun throughout, really felt like you were in the world at all times. The boss fights were kind-of samey (dodge, throw, dodge), but my favorite parts were using the verticality of the environments to wreak havoc. The stealth parts of the Arkham games were my favorite, so there was a lot of that here. Probably going to do the DLC before getting into The Last Of Us, as I don't want to lose the thread on controls and all of that before going to something else.

Almost everything! I didn't do all of the secret photos and didn't get a gold medal on all the Challenges, but I think that's all that was incomplete.Monkey_Driven wrote:How much side stuff did you do?Simple Torture wrote:I just finished the base Spider-Man game. I was just saying in this thread like last week that I've never gotten a platinum trophy after 6+ years on PlayStation. Then this happened today:

Re: What are you playing?
Yeah, and what I liked about it was that it just came along with the way I liked to play the game. I wasn't aiming for it, but when I finished the main campaign, I found that there were only like 3 trophies left for me to get before platinum. The closest I've ever gotten before by just playing a game was Skyrim, which I couldn't complete due to broken quests.

Re: What are you playing?
Debating my next game purchase but nothing is jumping out as a must have right now.
-Outer Worlds looks really good but it seems like it's not a very long game (by RPG standards)
-Borderlands 3 has middling reviews, but most say that it's good if you just want more Borderlands
-Sekiro
-just say fuck it and play through some backlog until Star Wars comes out

Re: What are you playing?
I just cannot seem to get excited about anything right now so i'm backlogging it for a while. Started playing Detroit: Become Human for a change of pace. I didn't know you could create an entire game out of QTE's but here we are. It's actually a pretty engaging story.Monkey_Driven wrote:Backlog or Sekiro.mf wrote:Debating my next game purchase but nothing is jumping out as a must have right now.
