A Pillow of Winds is lovely.
Worms is one of The Wall tracks that I just don't enjoy listening to.

How about we always vote for Meddle or Animals and see what happens?

Re: A Pillow Of Winds vs Waiting For The Worms
"A Pillow of Winds," and by extension, Meddle as a whole wins this one. Dreamy arrangements underscore Gilmour's lullaby vocals, and the whole thing is just comforting to listen to. I'm not a big fan of a lot of The Wall; it has some classic songs for sure, but much of the rest is kind of tiring and Roger was falling into cliches with his songwriting and arrangement choices. This one doesn't suffer from that, but it's not really a good standalone track, either.

tough one for me here, but pillow of winds gets my vote. pillow of winds is pretty much the polar opposite of the preceding one of these days on the album, and i've always liked their choice to sequence the record that way.
i enjoy listening to roger's increasing level of anger on the megaphone during the last part of waiting for the worms. it sounds cool.

ah, copperplate, a font for the truly modern man.
