What is this election for? What will people be voting for or against?

The Tories want to block a bill to lower the voting age to 16.

Can’t for the life of me imagine why

So, what happens if the vote backfires on Boris and doesn’t go his way?

Odds that the Brexit Party will actually back down on all those seats in order to give Boris a shot? And if so, what do the opposition parties do in response?

Brexit party up to now have said they’ll make a pact with Johnson if he guarantees a ‘clean brexit’.
By that they mean a no deal brexit.

It’s suicide. We all know that.

But that doesn’t mean Johnson won’t do it and then renege on it.
He has form. It’s the only form he has

The usual outlets I trust say they don’t have a strategy and this was unexpected for them.
Remember that Cameron called this bull shit referendum to stave off the threat of the same assholes. I just can’t see the Tories getting into bed with them now.
Swapping one minor horrific party in the dup for another horrific minor party in the brexit party would be suicidal and nonsensical

But if it’s all taught us anything it’s to expect the unexpected

Talk about petty and bitter.
Normally a retiring speaker of the house is given peerage/a lordship.
The Tories are blocking Bercow from getting one.

Assholes. Bitter petty assholes.

How completely out of touch the Tories are.

Johnson mocked Corbyn yesterday in parliament for wearing a green tie

He was wearing it as a sign of respect to those who died in the grenfel tower disaster. 71 people died in a huge fire in a tower block and yesterday the official report from the investigation was released. It literally took over all the news from the election and Brexit.
And here’s the mad part.
it was on the schedule for discussion in yesterday parliament session and Some of the survivors and families were in the public gallery.
And Johnson wasn’t even aware. And he and the Tories had a go at him for wearing a tie.
Theresa May was hissing at them ‘it’s for Grenfel’ from her seat.
They haven’t a fucking clue.
Cunts indeed
