A lot of the early stuff does very little for me, and here's a prime example. "The Final Cut," on the other hand, is one of my favorites, and it was a big part of me falling so hard for that album when I finally discovered it.

Thought I oughta bare my naked feelings
Thought I oughta tear the curtain down
I held the blade in trembling hands
Prepared to make it but
Just then the phone rang
I never had the nerve to make the final cut
