I’ve been avoiding Jason and his site and his podcast as he’s always on the bullseye mark with spoilers. But yeah.

He does seem to be the most accurate out there with spoilers.

He’s never reported anything that didn’t come to pass in the films.
No idea how or who his sources are but he’s never once been wrong.

Well except that one time. But it was only one time.

Now this is weird. I was just about to post the very same thing. My guess is that once he reached a certain level of understanding the Force, he simply didn't need it. Like Yoda on Dagobah. Then after the whole thing with Ben, he just didn't give a shit anymore. Hopefully, we'll see it again.

In the TLJ novelization he left it and his belongings on the island and the caretakers put it away and stored it.

Many Jedi have visited and stayed on the island it seems. They’re used to them coming and going.
They only knew he was gone when they found his cloak on the shore.

That lightsaber is far more fascinating to me than the other. Far more beautiful too.

It’s pretty much obi wans lightsaber from a new hope. They just reused it and changed a few details.

And, several conventions that have had Hayden and McDiarmaid booked, have been cancelled and given legal scary stuff from Disney within the last year.
Most notably the Salt Lake City conventions where they both there for the convention, visited a kids hospital together and then had their panel cancelled. Despite photos of them at the hospital going all all over.

And that’s just one.

Anakin is a lock. I’m just fascinated to know how they go about it.
Thanks Dime. I was reflecting on when I learned the title, "The Last Jedi" and how I immediately thought that was Rey and was wrong. Essentially, Luke was saying he would not be "the last jedi" and Rey and the kid w/ broom confirm this.

So if we know Palps is back, then the Chosen One, Anakin, was not successful is bringing balance to the Force and peace to the galaxy. Anakin has unfinished business and I now firmly believe that he will "rise" in human form to kick the living shit out of Palps once and for all.

Now, as a kid who saw Palps "die" in ROTJ, I am still not super excited about this, but if they bring back Anakin to full power mode (thinking Vader in the suit at the end of Rogue One) then that will be something to see.....

I just remembered that Palpatine and Padme are both from Naboo. What if he secretly knocked boots with Padme’s mother and he’s actually her dad?

Vader in the suit at the end of Rogue One is exactly the same as the original movie.

I'm not saying it's a great or original idea, but if the bad guy didn't die, you'd think the good guy didn't die either and they fight again I guess

Gonna Channel stip here but if Anakin comes back and defeats the emperor in any way, does that rob Rey of her agency and importance?
Think it might.
That’s why I hope they do it carefully.

Reyis probably the most typical hero of the Star Wars universe so far. Hopefully they do something really interesting with her, not just keep on being the big hero.

Too late to do anything like that now. It’s the final act. You’ll see that represented in dark Rey I bet.

But, that one line she has In the trailer is ominous. Especially coming from her

I agree that TLJ would have been a better time to stray, only to save it in TROS. Alas, we are were we are.

You can’t do that with her. It breaks the two halves of a whole dynamic between her and Kylo.
She’s the light he’s the dark. I don’t know how much of that is true when it comes to the force of it all, probably is given she was the awakening to counter the dark of Snoke and Kylo.
But in simple storytelling sense it is true.

Why is she the other half to Kylo? Not saying she’s not, not at all. But I do wonder why she is.

Or Rey is the Emperor or the Emperor's new apprentice and Ben Solo takes them both down, something his grandfather couldn't do (at least to Palps) and we have balance and peace for the galaxy
