Good people, Evil Dead fans everywhere, I bid you a heartfelt farewell playing Ash - the character I took acting lessons with for 39 years.

I am hereby retiring from that portrayal. It’s time. I followed Ash from his formative years thru his mid-life crisis and decline. What a thrill! What a privilege!

We had a great resurgence with the help of Starz (kudos not jeers, folks). They made it possible for 15 more hours of Evil Dead-ness in your life - the equivalent of 10 more features!

Is Ash dead? Never. Ash is as much a concept as a person. Where there is evil in this world, there must be one to counter - man or woman, it matters not.

Season 3 just popped up on Netflix. I generally enjoy this show, but I forgot how queasy it makes me. Why does such ridiculous and comic gore make my stomach turn. Am I old now?

Yeah, im watching season 3 on Netflix too. Im glad its there, i was very turned off by all the drama in season 2 and forgot about watching 3.

Its going to be a cool farewell to Ash i guess.

Well damn that was such a good season. Looked beautiful, was nuts as hell, very gory....And Bruce Campbell was so good. Just sooo good.

I hope he comes back for the movie Raimi is doing. I hope Sam comes back as well.

There is a director chosen by Raimi for the new Evil Dead movie. New story, it wont follow the series or the reboot.
