Here to perform my usual service of voting for earlier Floyd above the later stuff.

way back when when i was getting into floyd, i bought a book called the complete guide to the music of pink floyd by andy mabbett. it's a cd-sized book that had blurbs about every song officially released up through the division bell, plus overviews of the solo records.

i mention this now because of 'see saw', which to me has the greatest description of any song in the book, and has always made me chuckle whenever i've thought about it (like now):

"Another Wright song on which Syd Barrett is believed to play, its apt working title of 'The Most Boring Song I've Ever Heard Bar Two' begs the questions "what on earth were the other two?".

i DO wonder what the other two were, because see saw is pretty fucking boring.
ah, copperplate, a font for the truly modern man.
