I was going to come up with a detailed explanation but the short answer is cause I want to.VinylGuy wrote:next year? why?bada wrote:VinylGuy wrote:Dr Sleep.
Fuck, i loved it. Flanagan is such a good director...Ewan was good but both Ferguson and the kid were just incredible...The movie looks stunning, like a movie from another era.
Encouraging. I'll save it till next Halloween season but looking forward to it.
I dont see it as a horror movie at all.

i remember liking it. Im not a fan of Soderbergh though.tragabigzanda wrote:Haywire. Soderbergh’s take on the Bourne franchise. There are elements to admire but overall it’s pretty bad. Bottom-tier Soderbergh.

Watched What We Do In the Shadows and I swear I fell asleep the first time I watched it because I would say I didn't remember 3/4 of the movie at all.

I liked Cloverfield back in the day, it was a cool experience to see it in the theatre.
The second one was really fun. The last one was....not good.

Re: What movies are you watching?
I'm at the MDQ Film Festival right now and so far I've watched 7 movies. Two have been bad (O Que Arde, Los Que Vuelven), one terrible (Nona Si Me Mojan Yo Los Quemo), one good (La Muerte No Existe y El Amor Tampoco) and two great (Parasite, Lina From Lima). Mixed bag so far but there are 25 more movies on my list

Re: What movies are you watching?
lol, too true.
'made' him watch Cloverfield by not telling him what it was. He enjoyed it - I think? - and said it wasn't as scary as I made it out to be. I never made it out to be scary, and even said as much several times! Revisionist history is strong with this one.
