I'm sure if we're all reeeeeeeeal nice to M. she'll be happy to share her feelings with us. And since we don't want her to get in trouble with 10C it would be good to have it posted under a user name different from the one used in The Pit.

The link posted on the previous page works fine for me.

They decided to hold the event, I don't think they're going to try to stop people talking about it.

I must've just missed it. Second page you say? My powers of observation need work.

By the way, whenever I read "driving ballad" as a description it makes me think of those ads for "Rock Music to Drive Cars to" compilations, with Huey Lewis and the News, Steppenwolf and The Scorpions on. The description might fit the soundcheck song in more ways than one.

I keep getting wound up at how little we have to listen to from this album, and then remember that KOL fans have the same issue. Only three songs have been released from that one.

Unless someone makes a stealth recording, this probably won't be much to get excited about.

"This is a fast song. Kind of like Supersonic, I guess? Different, though. Nice guitar work."

"This one's the big ballad! Loved it. Mike tears up the solo."

"Sort of a mix between Given to Fly and I Am Mine, if that makes sense. Some great lyrics from what I could make out. Jeff really shines on this one."

"Not sure what to make of this one. Probably a Matt song."

Considering their last few albums have been about as edgy as Coldplay that's no bad thing.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

I think we need to keep these for listening party bingo.

I don't think KOL were edgy to begin with; it was all shtick. Good shtick, but shtick all the same. The only album I've been disappointed with from KOL is the last one. Two or three good songs on it, that's all.

Yeah - perhaps edgy was the wrong word. I really liked their first two albums but after that it's been catchy but patchy.

LOL catchy but patchy. Tbf, they've got cheesier but they will never be Coldplay. Same with PJ.

I've rid my house of sharp implements in case someone makes a Supersonic comparison.

Just imagine we get "sounds like nothing as it seems crossed with parting ways crossed with bugs crossed with the Macarena" .

The resulting song will still probably sound like supersonic, but the excitement should tide me over for a while.

I feel they need some electronica / euphoric trance / trouse influences in this album to truly be able to call it experimental.
