Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

These are going to smell wonderful. I wish I was in a zone they would survive in.

the other one is about vegetable gardens

this one is about gardens that allow us to be one with earth / feel at peace / express art through nature / run from our pasts / hide from the outside world / attract pollinators / enjoy flowers

Deer dislike them? Surround your tulips with them.

i have thought that but then wondered if they will feel like they are in I.M. Shamylan’s the village

unable to see a world outside the thicket that surrounds them

they will be alive but totally isolated from outsiders

what life is it for a flower that blooms but cannot be seen?

nay

instead i must fight to protect them

which reminds me - i caught a squirrel today. peanut butter in the trap. relicated him/her/them to a park 15 minutes away covered in oak trees. sorry to take you from your home range- but stay the hell away from my bulbs next time bro

True. Maybe just get a motion activated sprayer to repel the deer. Squirrels are bastards in gardens. We had a squirrel destroy our tomatoes last summer. Little fucker.
