yeah I'm beginning to question my decision to purchase the switch when it came out... I enjoyed BOTW quite a bit but can't replay it.. can't get into it again.. MK8 was good for a while but can't play that anymore either... PS4 is better at everything.

good offer I might sell it to you.. let me think

I have

BOTW
MK8
SMOdyssey
New SMBU Deluxe (big let down)
Link's Awakening.. not sure why I bought this.. way overpriced and boring
SMMaker 2.. had fun with this for like 3 days
Splatoon 2.. probably had the most fun with this game but can't play it anymore.. boring now
Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze (OK but too short)

also a pro controller

I suppose I can make an offer of half price of what everything was brand new.. so...

$240 for all the games
$150 for the console
$20 for the worn pro controller
$35 for shipping/packaging, handling and convenience fees

How easy is it to play? Could a young child mess around with it and still have fun even if they don't make too much progress?

How old is the child? There are some intermediate puzzle elements in each room to progress. It's not an open world to really explore outside of the opening of the game. The puzzle solving and strategic elements to boss fights might be tough for a young, young kid.

Most of the game is available to play in co-op, so that's option to help with difficult sections.

Like 5. I could help him with the puzzles if the controls are easy and intuitive enough. I'm hoping it's something we can play together.

I think it would be really fun to play together. There are not many game mechanics for him to memorize, but the they really explore every combination of the 5 or so elements.

True for the most part, but there's Doom, Resident Evil: Revelations, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Dark Souls, L.A Noire, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Diablo III, Darkest Dungeon, Skyrim.

Tons of grittier stuff geared towards adults.

Journey to Silius and Crystalis for NES and Star Fox 2, Super Punch-Out!!, Kirby Super Star, and Breath of Fire II for SNES will be added to Switch Online.

I'm excited that Crystalis is being added. I tried buying it over the summer on eBay, but the cart I got wouldn't work in my NES - and I have a top loader.

My nephews are getting a Switch from Santa this year and I'm really glad my sister told me. She had no idea that she'd have to buy more controllers and well, Uncle Pete to the rescue.

Buying a system based on the number of "mature" games is some teenager shit. A good game is a good game.

I have no idea. I know my sister bought the Mario Kart 8 bundle, but she also asked me to recommend some games. I told her Mario Maker 2, Luigi's Mansion 3, Mario Odyssey, Duck Game, Splatoon 2.

I wanted to recommend BotW but the oldest is 11 and I don't think he'd be that into it.

My secretary is getting it for her son. I said Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey and Switch Online for all of the NES and SNES games.
