I’m sure every team steals signs in one way or another. It isn’t even against the rules. However I do believe that using video equipment is absolutely against the spirit of the game and should be treated differently than a runner on second trying to steal signs from the catcher. I doubt every team is so brazen about it, which doesn’t necessarily make the violation worse, but it is definitely a bad look and comes off as cheating and unsportsmanlike. I’d also need to be convinced that “every team” was using the home team video feed in that same way. I have to guess some were, but I’d be surprised if it even approached “all”.

Nothing, but the pitcher is even less likely to be able to signal the catcher what the next pitch is without it being stolen than the catcher is.

Using video equipment (or any electronics) to assist in stealing signs has been against the rules for nearly 20 years.
