Re: Election 2020
The current crop of candidates has definitely made me appreciate Obama far more now than when he was in office

There is absolutely no way America will elect another black man for president this soon after Obama. Unfortunately.cutuphalfdead wrote:Deval for All

Obama gets it“My point is that even as we push the envelope and we are bold in our vision, we also have to be rooted in reality and the fact that voters, including Democratic voters and certainly persuadable independents or even moderate Republicans, are not driven by the same views that are reflected on certain, you know, left-leaning Twitter feeds or the activist wing of our party.”

I do believe that the Democrats might have the Louisiana governor’s race locked up.

2019:
Trump stumps in Kentucky, a state he won by 30 points, and the candidate he backs loses.
Trump stumps in Louisiana, a state he won by 20 points, and the candidate he backs loses.
Trump stumps in Mississippi, a state he won by 17 points, and the candidate wins by 5%.
In each case, the president and party made supporting Trump central to the campaign message. In Kentucky he arrived as the candidate was up by five points and pleaded: “You can’t let them do that to me.” In Louisiana, he held three rallies in five weeks.

The premise of Yang's UBI platform is that it will consolidate already-existing welfare programs, making it a foregone conclusion that the least fortunate in our society will actually see a drop in total benefits. So no, he's not literally giving everyone money, you make-work idiot.verb_to_trust wrote:Yang: still smarter than MickeyMickey wrote:Anyone who falls for this should be forcibly sterilized.BurtReynolds wrote:
