It wouldn't surprise me if it leaked from a listening party. People get things they are not supposed to get on planes...I doubt the security is as tight with a listening party....

Wait, the members going to the listening party (Mirella, is it, and one other?). Do we know their feelings about Backspacer? That's going to colour their review, for me. I'd like them to factor that in if possible.

I am worthless as a critic, since I love almost everything . Fortunately I won't be the only one. I am with two other members of this board, and at least one of the other three (journalists) I know, is here as well. Our listening party is tomorrow in Amsterdam, and I will write about it on the Dutch Ramblings page, since I promised that to the person who invited us. Then we have a festival from Thursday to Monday, so I don't think I can write much in English before that. But I will share everything I think, of course, eventually .

Yes, phones will be handed in. I still remember a listening party years ago, where a friend got busted with his recorder by another friend who worked for the record company. That was embarrassing for all of us. And he only wanted to make a bad recording for himself .
