I've been enjoying a few hazy pale ale's this evening. Trouble is, they have all been in the 6.5% plus ABV category. Feeling a little wrecked y'all. But in a good way.
A nice beer for a blustery fall evening from our friend Reid.
How was it? Did you pair it with anything?
We were having a charceuterie and cheese plate, it went well with it. It was delicious. There was a strong bitterness you don't find in many coffee beers, but this had it and it was very refreshing.

Glad you liked it. It's not one I reach for often, but I bought a pack for my fridge after giving you that can. This batch is really strong on that sweet, rich viet coffee flavor.

I recently tried a white IPA and can categorically declare I dislike every wheat beer I have ever tried, no matter what 'style'.
I love black IPAs tho. Love 'em.

Received my beer advent calendar from my local liquor store today. 25 individually gift-wrapped beers to be drunk over the 25 days 1st Dec to Xmas day. I am ridiculously excited to see what I have in store!

This sounds awesome. Please let us know what you get, what you like, etc.

Will do for sure. Here's a quick pic:
Here's how our local brewery is packaging their advent calendar. I don't have one tho.

If we all pool our pocket money maybe we can buy a brewery eh?
Constellation has been paying fines for overpaying since 2017 and have really destroyed the brand in my opinion. I feel for the BP employees that have lost jobs as well. A brewery that brewed less than a thousand barrels taking over a full-scale facility doesn't exactly sound like a well-founded decision either but time will surely tell.
