Not aware but it makes perfect sense. I don’t disagree with your assessment, and would comment globally that on a personal level, I don’t find it resonating with me on a personal level the way say Wildflowers or No Code or any other of my all time favorites do. I don’t connect as much to it, or any of the albums I have heard so far, on an emotional level the way I do my favorites. That being said I certainly recognize the genius of the recording.

To me, Pearl Jam's changing of the Who You Are lyric is a FAR MORE egregious change in that regard as it effectively seeks to cancel the original album.

That's a completely irrelevant comparison because the "new" lyric is the "original" one, and they forgot to change it back to the revised version when they did the reissue. It was not changed deliberately.

I'd LOVE to hear a Glyn Johns version of Get Back if you're able to point me towards one.

Don't bother. It's beyond horrible and was rejected for a reason.

Magical Mystery Tour - this is the first album in a while that didn’t really move the ball for them - it was also the first Beatles album I heard in its entirety as a child. Nonetheless, the album finds a lot of great spaces that mostly are Beatles classics, such as Fool on the Hill, Strawberry Fields Forever, Hello Goodbye, All You Need Is Love, etc. For some reason I anticipated not liking this album as much as I used to but to the contrary it was better than I remembered.

I don't know if it is really underrated but more often passed over due to being on Yellow Submarine. It's actually one of my favorite Beatles tunes and I was pretty happy when Dave & Friends tossed it in the mix for their few shows.

The White Album - this is really the Beatles album I am most familiar with because I have heard it countless times. The range of music they cover in 93 minutes is really unbelievable and I can’t think of any other album that ever covered this much material. Despite what really is a wildly varied album, what holds it all together is the great storytelling and development of characters throughout, whether the source is quasi-political, silly, or in a downright blood curdling scream. Unlike my occasional criticism, especially of their earlier work, you could live in these songs and experience a connection to them. I also like that after many albums of pushing the envelope on a sonic psychedelic scale that they went for essentially a mastery of each musical form they attempted ( save for Revolution 9 which is all psychedelia). I also love that they open the album with a surfer song ode to Russia. They must have had a lot of fun with this one.

Yeah, pretty sure band relationships weren't very good during the White Album sessions either: Ringo walked out at one point, which is why Paul plays drums on a few songs.

Well, it’s still a fun listen nonetheless. Plus, as many of us know from our more favorite bands, sometimes it’s conflict that spurs the greatest genius.

I was thinking about that whole Vitalogy/No Code era...granted there was all that PDA during the marketing for Yield, but many bands are at their best when competing ideas bump up against each other, yes?

Yellow Submarine - less an album than a score, particularly the second half, but that second half was great. The first half seemed more a mishmash of Magical Mystery Tour redux, children’s songs, and psychedelia. Enjoyed Hey Bulldog. Also, Yellow Submarine In Pepperland > Yellow Submarine.

Abbey Road - holy smokes. This is it. I mean from front to back nearly perfect. Their maturity, gift for pop, and existential need to push boundaries on a sonic level all comes together exactly as it should ever have. Maxwell’s Silver Hammer, I Want a You (She’s So Heavy), Polythene Pam are great examples of this mixed with some of the most powerful of their classics. This is my favorite of the albums.

Let It Be - pretty good, but I will admit I was let down after Abbey Road. I still really liked Two of Us, Maggie Mae, One After 909, Get Back, and For You Blue quite a bit. I sadly don’t have much to say than that about this album. I didn’t quite inspire me to write a lot.
