Ep 6 is a masterpiece of storytelling on its own.

After the premiere, I wrote a bit about how it's odd how two series on HBO within the span of a year are going to feature the Black Wall Street Massacre--Watchmen and Lovecraft Country (which was briefly featured in the HBO 2020 trailer released recently). Now we have last night's episode that featured references to American Nazism and anti-Semitism in the 1930s--which will obviously feature prominently in another HBO series next year (The Plot Against America). I don't think there's a big mystery as to why multiple fictions are addressing these histories now, but it's quite something to watch unfolding on the same network.

I actually feel like the less said about last night's episode, the better. Best to let it stand on its own.
