Star Wars has never been about the Skywalkers

No. I’ll be at work from 8-8 then come home exhausted and hope I have 30 minutes alone for the tv to watch it. You’ll probably see it before I will.

The cameo by digital Leia has ruined the whole series.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Ok episode. Some early thoughts:
Spoiler: show
definitely lacking budget in this one. Some obvious cgi moments and the close up fighting was obvious.

Also, Loth cats!!!

Also, could be a big deal:
Spoiler: show
he said "the Mandalorians took me in" which implies he isn't one?

Really liked the gear shift in tone here.

But
Spoiler: show
How could he possibly forget there were hunters that still were tracking the kid?? The idea of leaving him there just plain dumb

In the interest of full disclosure. I had to clean up the apartment today before heading into work. I'm at work now. I watched all but the last 8 mins of the episode. So, I haven't seen the entire thing just yet. But regarding your spoiler tag:
Spoiler: show
I think, yes. 100% This episode was a big deal in defining his backstory, I think. It's safe to say he's not a native born Madalorian. I'm not sure if I like this idea or if it feels like too much retread. We know Favreau wrote this with Boba Fett as the main character and Lucasfilm said no, made him change to a different character. Is that just a left over from the original drafts?

It also means that what we're seeing in his flashbacks likely is NOT the Siege of Mandalore. Which was kinda my feeling/suspicion all along. Which I think is cool.

But obviously this is all inference. Maybe he is a native Mandalorian, but it really seems unlikely now.

There's a lot of that kind of stuff so far that you kind of just have to suspend disbelief about and move on.
