“Tell Me More” - A Thread About Bands We Should Know Better

In this thread we ask RMers to tell us more about a band we are interested in but know little about or have heard little of their material. RMers have a vastly ranging taste in music, and hopefully they can clue us into material we should know better.

Anyway, I’ve known of Sigur Rós for the better part of 20 or more years, and I’ve really appreciated the very few songs I’ve heard (none of which I could name, and not because I don’t speak Icelandic), but I think this could be a band that I probably would love a lot if I ever gave them a chance, but for no real reason, I never have spent time checking them out. I’d love if someone could point out a few songs I have to hear (maybe five or so).

Speaking of which, I’m not as big of a fan of Glósóli as the first two, even though it is a solid track, especially the last minute or so. The first two he listed are just really, really superb.
