Well, the U2 show tonight was surprisingly great. The visuals were stunning, and have to say the band and Bono sounded really great. Colour me pleasantly surprised.

they are such a great band live. I hope they relax a little bit more and make an actual album without thinking about the charts or they role in today´s music....just make a fun album.

The show last night wa a lot of fun. It was super weird but a lot of fun. Zooey brought the house down with their final encore of I Put A Spell On You. Like, I know the girl can sing. But chica can WAIL. I had no idea she had that kind of range and belt in her.

Also, M. Ward is way better than I've ever given him credit for.

For the record, while I shit on her acting choices, I think her music is much better. Not really my thing, but she's very good at doing what she does with it.

It was pretty good. Courtney Barnett was solid as you'd expect, no surprises from Paul Kelly, but definitely a good performance from him. He played for a few hours too, which was great. All the anticipated tunes and a few surprises to boot. I very much got my money's worth.
