Bot rewrites Pearl Jam lyrics (+ other PJ stuff)

This is a website that's been doing the rounds. You enter some text and it uses algorithms to "complete" it.

I've been running some Pearl Jam lyrics through it.

Son, she said
Have I got a little story for you
What you thought was your daddy
Was nothin' but a minor
"And I didn't know them enough to understand it"
Wow baby, you sure am a good wife
And so you kept working and got used to her
She was a load more attractive than I was
I'm thinking of my own daughter
Not those hairy chicks that walk around in black and blue
Or those statuesque statues of famous magicians
Who stand at the back of the classroom
It's got me doing
When something's dark, let me shed a little light on it
When something's cold, let me put a little fire on it
If something's old, I wanna put a bit of shine on it
When something's gone, I'm going to throw a party to celebrate
When someone's walking by I'm trying to make them feel better
I want to shine this piece of shit and make it stand out
When someone calls my name, I wanna make it so they understand
I just wanna take a look at the people that matter to me
There's no color in the dark, there's no light in the dark, there's nothing
There's no color in the dark, there's no light in the dark, there's nothing
It's all put together like stars in the dark
It's all put together like stars
It's a fragile thing, this life we lead,
If I think too much, I can get overconfident.
Not having that "ready smile" if I miss that one bright thing I need,
Anything I'm working on in the lab or at home gets hard.
And honestly, I can't imagine what life would be like without art!
I find that anything I work on can really only be completed if I try to find the inner glow
Every time I make art or spend too much time on my computer, I realize it is going to have
A bad effect
Do you see the way that tree bends?
Does it inspire?
Leaning out to catch the sun's rays
a lesson to be applied
Are you getting something out of this
And what's with you... ?
To be confident, we need to be humble...
In the eyes of this animal, I'm
A toy you can hold but no one will play with
just a snake makes a scared game winner
And for awhile, I thought she was free...
Little wonder my shadow was waiting outside
The heat is unbearable, here with you

Alone, listless
Breakfast table in an otherwise empty room
Young girl, violence
Center of her own attention
Mother reads last books of the previous week
You are my brain
So you are
Disciples, pressure, delight
Offering or barring
I wash you clean
Rude on you, you'll need an apology
Open your mouth
Entreaty and complain
Inners are enemy
Biting, ribbing and snubbing
Whistling through the wall
Annette's attention span

If I ever were to lose you
I'd surely lose myself
Everything I have found here
I've not found by myself
Try and sometimes you'll catch a glimpse
Of the stars by my side
Their god is me. I'm just a boy
And maybe a happy one with your help
We'll go wherever I go
Somehow I find myself staying with you
If I ever were to lose you
I'd surely lose myself

For scientific completeness, put in the first few lines of the Ill be waiting song and let’s just see which ghostbuster it picks out.

Freezin' rests his head on a pillow made of concrete again ooh yeah
Oh feelin' maybe he'll see a little betters any days ooh yeah
Oh hand out faces that he sees a tattoo too wild for you to handle
I got the hot rocks
gambling on his kid to be the one he dies on to smoke at the corner store
OH YOU COULD GET AT EACH OTHER AS WELL
'Cause you both control your environment
'Cause you both know you don't want to think
'Cause you both have parents awful

If I keep holding out
Will the light shine through?
Under this broken roof
It's only through your affection
That I can live here.
They're going to do their best to wake you up.
I won't forget you.
I won't forget you.
In the darkness I can still see the bat.
On the whole, its body is a memento of the road it took from here.
It's already fallen prey to the gloom of the forest.
The sound of the slow snores awakened me.
The grave still exists
I've got an unfortunate feeling, I've been beaten down
I feel I don't believe and now the truth is coming out
What they've taken from me is endless
The shame, the hunger, the disgrace
They say I will die alone, but that will never happen
The enemies of Israel are on my doorstep
Didn't they know I wasn't one of them?
They've taken my lifetime off
They've taken my children away
They've ruined my soul with their lies and lies
They made me their puppet
All I got left now is power
At home drawing pictures
Of mountain tops
With him on top
Lemon yellow sunsets
But trees still in bloom
With him on top
With me on top
But I'm not the judge
Between parka and hoodie
Funny 'cause those butterflies
They weren't full-size
When they hung out together
A bit like a concert
The 'fro had me headin' skyward
Behind a purple sash
Sandy fields glisten
With peaches and peaches
Cherry blossoms dipped
In shimmering champagne

Drive down the street can't find the keys to my own fucking home
I take a walk so I can curse my ass for being dumb
I make a right after the arches stinking grease and bone
Stop at the supermarket people with this gun
Fuck the politician and Jesus Christ you dumbasses
Shit in your belly and the day breaks.
They bring off the sharpening, the whitening - white girl gets bleeding, and all she did was die
Longing and a voice inside of me is hungry, the blood is coming.
The blood is coming and the last gasp dies
I saw a guy with a kegger on his face in the parking lot
Told me to get out, 'cause you're fucking shitty
They takin' pictures of my tattoos
I have a serious problem

I used to be crustacean
In an underwater nation
And I surf in celebration
Of a billion adaptations
Got me a big wave, so I surfed like this
Long into the night, that feels like I'm going somewhere
And the thought that I'm never going to see you again
Turns me into a beach babe
So you will understand me
And I will go out alone
A dream, come true
I found a new girl in this boat
Mixed in the ocean currents
Wish I had a soigneur
I feel like living

I took the PJ.com press release about Gigaton and ran it through this tool.
Original text in bold, the rest is bot nuttiness.
Pearl Jam will release their much-anticipated eleventh studio album, Gigaton, on Monkeywrench Records/ Republic Records on March 27, 2020 in the US. Internationally, the album will be released and sold on February 14, 2021.

The album was recorded and mixed at Run For Cover Studios in Utah. the album features 12 new original songs, and is the first album by a Pearl Jam album produced exclusively by Mike McCready, the band's rhythm guitarist.

"Gigaton has gone from a completely different area, especially from the last album, to a whole new area for Pearl Jam," Mike told Rolling Stone earlier this year. "I have tried my best to capture the dynamics and nuance of both the new songs and the classics."

"Making this record was a long journey," explains Mike McCready . "It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater self-doubt and shame. It wasn't long before I felt more confident in my music, and although we didn't have the chance to record the rest of that year, I carried my faith on.

"By the time I graduated high school, it was clear I was making big strides in my musical development. When I was 17, the support network I needed to continue to perform publicly on a weekly basis allowed me to realize a lot of my goals and get closer to the people I cared about. For the first time, I felt like I could have my dreams, goals and ambitions fulfilled."

"While the songs themselves are all new, we're re-releasing songs from this project from its 3.0 collection. A group of them appear on our 'More to Come' compilation with the same name." Unfortunately, you'll have to pick up Gigaton on vinyl or CD to hear them. The band will be marking the release with the release of a one-off vinyl reissue of their first record,, on June 3rd. What better way to celebrate our latest releases?
