Going with Comfortably Numb for now, but I could be swayed.

Comfortably Numb from PULSE is probably my favorite song/performance combo of all time. It doesn’t get better than that solo. It’s perfection.

I’m not surprised that Time is winning. It is a great song, and RM is always about being contrarian. But Comfortably Numb should be the champion. Time Vs. Comfortably Numb would have been the perfect final. And if you have watched PULSE, you should know that Comfortably Numb is the best Pink Floyd song of them all. Hell, it might be the single best song of all time. But this is RM, and that means it never was going to win. Honestly, I’m kinda surprised you bros didn’t vote it out early.

This should have been the final. Time is absolutely phenomenal on every level. Whereas Comfortably Numb is absolutely elevated by the solo. It may be the best studio solo of all time but it still elevates the song.

Best studio solo of all time that becomes 100X better in the live setting. And I agree that Time is phenomenal, it’s just that Comfortably Numb is arguably the best rock song ever.

Fair pick for the discussion at least. What would you throw out there, Chud?

Exactly. And also why I said “arguably”. Pete has no opinions of his own.
