He looked like the old fucker he was supposed to be. Shaw was almost 80 when he filmed that scene.

Yeah. I think when the OT was filmed Lucas had kept Vader’s age closer to Kenobi. It wasn’t stated but it just seemed they were closer in age. And using Shaw as uncovered Anakin enforces that idea.

Lucas modified that to fit his PT and way younger Anakin. Feels like a mistake. I always thought Vader/Anakin was older when the only movies out were the OT.

For the record, my family Christmas Card contains a reference to Episode IX.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Reading a story now where JJ is saying this movie will "introduce a host of new Force powers." I do not like the sound of this.

Yeah. He called me the other day from Thailand. Said some vindictive awful shit. Sounded like he was justifying somethin so I’m assuming he met someone else. Been crying for about three days now but anyways. Nothing I can do.

Guys. Im a big fan of SW...all my life.

I love the OT, like the prequels enough, like some of the stuff of these new ones...Loved as a kid to get into Star Tours, the old books...One of the best parts of these new movies was having this place to discuss them. Even if those talks were heated, even if dime lost it a few times, even if Joey is a paid guy from Disney...it made the experience of the new movies way better.

Ill always remember this new trilogy for this.

I do have real life SW pals. I have been watching all these movies with one of them and its fun. And i can discuss with the others...but this has been a really cool addition to that...and for me, it was because of the new trilogy.
