Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Man do I love Dances With Wolves. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I saw it when I was around 10 or 11 and was absolutely mesmerized. Amazing soundtrack by John Barry too. Also a fun fact: Neil Young borrowed two of his domesticated bison's for the film.

One of my dearest and best friends in this world was in the recent Broadway revival of this. This is a person I adore and respect with all of my heart. And she was a major character, not an understudy or a swing or something like that. I've seen everything she's been in on and off Broadway since I moved to NYC and met her.

I was offered complimentary tickets to see her in Cats.

I did not see her in Cats.

I fucking hate this musical.
