Also Kevin Garvey’s large flopping penis just like Dr Manhattan’s
No matter how many times I rewound and rewatched that scene, I couldn't figure out what it reminded me of. Thanks!

What a great episode

There was a scene right after the credits
Sometimes I wanna drive around and find you
And act like it's a random thing

I loved it but
Spoiler: show
Manhattan is indeed such a weird character. He is mighty powerful but still gets trapped?

So, I'm once again (still!) one episode behind. We watched ep 7 last night but got to it too late to watch ep 8.

But ep 7 was bonkers in the BEST possible way.

Guys, this is the smartest show on TV and easily the best show of the year. It's so infinitely satisfying on so many levels.

Joey, I have been watching two episodes of The Leftovers per night (plus Watchmen on Sundays!); what is going on in your life that's so important that you are a week behind?

I wish I had a good excuse. It's really just work schedules lining up (between the wife and I) along with all the other shows we're watching right now. The big thing is that I've been super amped to watch but she's been less enthusiastic. Usually we don't sit down to watch TV together until after 10pm. At that point one or both of us usually wants something lighter and easier to digest.

I'm done at 6 tonight, though. Which means I'll be home by 7. Which means I SHOULD be all caught up shortly. 8-)

Her mind was totally shattered by ep 7. It was awesome to see her so jazzed.

Are you listening to Series Regular from THR? It's a great in depth weekly discussion.

bit about V3 soundtrack here.
Spoiler: show
The next album is “The Manhattan Project”. Apparently it’s about the history of The Nine Inch Nails... One of the hosts of a podcast I listen to is also a writer on Watchmen. He let this slip at the end of today’s episode!

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/a ... 1219263074

For folks without the skip-ahead button right now, this is the relevant money-shot reveal about the Vol. 3 liner notes:

"It tells you the history of Nine Inch Nails, as they exist in Watchmen world... and how their fates intersected with the legacy of Dr. Manhattan's absence from the world. They were called The Nine Inch Nails, as they are in Twin Peaks, which means that yes, Watchmen and Twin Peaks occupy the same world."
uh, ok.
