I am sure it’s been said already, but if they had such high quality recordings from those Red Rocks shows, that second night would be a guaranteed hit among fans for Vault 10. Just for reminders:

PJ channel on Sirius played Not For You today from Bangkok on this tour. Wasn’t expecting that

It's not my favourite tour - that would probably be 2006. But 1995 was a fucking great year.
Pearl Jam played Australia for the first time. Easily the biggest band of the moment. Getting tickets was next to impossible.
Ticket were $35 AUD which as a uni student was a godsend.
There was a buzz around the whole city for this. Something I haven't experienced since, maybe being that age and at uni I was connected to it all a bit more. We'd all being listening to any boot we could get our hands on, luckily around that time we had the "Unauthorised" boots hit the record shops and they were $5 each. Anyone who had something new would tape it and pass it around.

I was at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre for the first night. Had about 10 of my mates spread around the venue including two in the mosh pit.
It was the first date I took my now wife of 23 years on.

Pearl Jam came out, stage was all black but you could just make out Eddie and some figures moving about.
Blasted straight into Last Exit. Last Exit will always stick with me for that moment.
All the shows on that tour of Aus and NZ were energised crowds. Seats being moved out of the way and crowds surging forwards.
It was a night that cemented Pearl Jam as my band for live shows. I loved all the CDs but live, they were even better.

yeah the 95 tour sure is a special one. Band was on fire but also it was interesting to see how they were evolving into something else. Probably 95-96 were the hardest years for them right?

This was the show that I camped out for 3 nights for. It was crazy hard to get tix for and it was the show of the year. I still get chills thinking about that night.

Hats off to you for that effort, that is hard core. I had some mates camp out for a couple of nights.
My story is far more tame.

My Aunty worked for a big solicitors mob in Brisbane, I worked there too in mailroom, so I got 6 tickets through the social club because of her. She loved music and had been all around the world watching bands. Beatles, Stones etc. Good Auntie to have when PJ were in town.

So long ago the order was sent by fax! Got confirmation about 2 days after went on sale that we had the tickets.
Those same mates who camped out were half shit faced or stoned off their tree at start of show. I was stone cold sober, didn't want to miss a thing. One of them taped it on a walkman but it was so bad you couldn't listen to it.
Honestly I'll never be convinced it wasn't much better times before smart phones and everything being so easy.

30 years ago today, the infamous Golden Gate Park show. After the seventh song played, Not For You, Eddie left sick and Neil Young finished the show with the band. 15 year old me felt gut punched.
