Well WMA just drones so it is fine. The LW is painful because we had the full version of the song prior to the fadeout. Likewise, I'm now used to this long solo at the end of l-bolt that won't be there

I've always hated them.
All these years I wanted to know who's the bastard that I want to kick in the balls.
Now I know.

I haven't watched Nick Toons in years. It's not one my stepkids were ever really interested in.

The LW solo starts to go nowhere which is why it fades out - it starts off well but Mike runs out of ideas.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

Re: New Song: Lightning Bolt
I disagree about the life wasted solo. Daughter also drones on so I don't mind the fade and probably think it is appropriate. I suppose rats and especially corduroy would be in the lw category for me if I knew a version without a fade or a live version prior to the studio.Blenheim Augustine wrote:"One of the four examples you provided doesn't count, leaving three others I won't address, but I'll keep banging on about LW fadeout regardless"stip wrote:Blenheim Augustine wrote:Everyone talks about Life Wasted when it comes to fade outs - but what about Corduroy? Re: New Song: Lightning Bolt
the fadeout in Rats fits the song perfectly and there is a lot going on at the very end of the fadeout......Blenheim Augustine wrote:Everyone talks about Life Wasted when it comes to fade outs - but what about Corduroy? I cant wait to hear the studio version of this song, I hated it at first but its def growing on me like most PJ songs do...it looks like mike was supposed to playing harder and or faster at the end judging by the gestures and pissed off look ed was giving him in the Wrigley video...

Just curious, how do we even know Ed was looking at him? For all we know it could be something in the crowd, an overzealous security guard, a wet fart, whatever.

Re: New Song: Lightning Bolt
I think people are speculating that based on the fact that he seems to come in a 'chorus' late on his part.

I think they should fade out live too.

I think it's about time Ed started miming.
