Great chat with Carpenter. Yes, the man has a quality in terms of the truth...i love his remarks on how nobody understood American Psycho at the times and ¨the woman with an agenda¨ less...and it was pretty cool to hear from him, his music, his thoughts on the studios....great.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Using this as a bit of a reminder as Avary has an appearance on BEE's podcast soon but I enjoyed this interview quite a bit:

Being Roger Avary: Lucky Day, Incarceration, and Rekindling His Friendship with Tarantino
absinthe makes the heart grow fonder...
