I’m just absolutely jazzed I might finally be able to see John play live.

One of my only serious live music regrets is working a merch stand during the 2000 Big Day Out and bailing at the end of my shift without seeing RHCP who were headlining.

Did you guys like Stadium Arcadium? I really don't like that album, felt like they were phoning it in a lot of the time. But every other record with Frusciante has been awesome.

SA is a tour de force. Just massive, I love every song on it.

Im actually surprised. John again? I was actually warming up with Josh, specially live...he got the band to play some really obscure songs...and now John is back for the third time.

Dont get me wrong, the best albums of this band are with John but...really? again? Im guessing John called Flea and told him he would be back..and the band fired Josh...thats how i imagine this happened. Once John re builds his confidence he will be out again thinking he is too much for the band and needs to do art or something.

3. I saw them open for PJ at Key Arena. Not sure of the year. No clue who the guitarist was at the time.

It’s good news but I feel bad for Klinghoffer, like he was a part time member until Frusciante decided he would be back. That being said, Frusciante is RHCP at their best - Mother’s Milk, BSSM, Californication, By the Way, Stadium Arcadian, etc. I would love to see this lineup again (last RHCP show in 2000 with Muse and Foo Fighters).

That’s kind of what I was getting at above. Without knowing the whole story, it would seem to make quite brutally clear how integral Josh was viewed as being to the band.

yeah, i guess josh will be fine. He seemed stoked to be a part of the band and he really pushed them to play more songs.

I guess ill be exited for this if they record a very good album with John. Kind of Californication style. If they do another By The Way, im out.

I think it’s a solid double-album that can be condensed down into a truly great 12-14 track LP.
