This is a retarded statement because it means the same thing.
Yeh, I would have preferred to take my chances with "any drummer". That's my point. I think Matt is the worst drummer in the band's history. Sales support this theory.

Matt's songwriting gets the band out of their comfort zone in the best way possible. Evacuation, In The Moonlight and Cropduster are just wonderful pieces of music. Eddie always comes up with really interesting vocal melodies in Matts songs.

Have you got a poster appreciation thread in GD yet? If not, I should probably write you one at some point, although it seems a big step and I'm not sure I have the authority.Mike wrote:Matt's songwriting gets the band out of their comfort zone in the best way possible. Eh. Unless you are on the inside, we here have no knowledge of what the material that Matt brought to the table actually sounded like before 'da fixin'. Except for "you are" which was cool.

Well, if you're thinking like this we can never praise a songwriter in the band.broken iris wrote:Mike wrote:Matt's songwriting gets the band out of their comfort zone in the best way possible. Actually it looks like someone's just posted a link to the other thread. Still, it looks like this thread will have Amsterdam reviews in it soon.
