Is this the one where you warned about potential spoilers?

Will be interesting to see this again with TROS in mind.
Spoiler: show
Although I feel that Rian and JJ have different visions for Star Wars.

Just finished the rewatch.

A few quibbles aside, I adore this movie. Will be very tough for Rise to top it.

It’s not really an either or. Tlj feels like a deep heavy breath in a good way. Before the plunge into the relentlessness of ROS

Poor choice of words on my part.

One of the main complaints is tlj is a slow car chase. I can’t think of a good analogy but the pacing and just drive in ROS is really lovely and so complimentary to what came before.

That make sense?

I can’t Fucking wait to get to sit down and watch all three

I can't wait to see TROS tomorrow so I can finally TALK to you about it.

Even if we have to nerd out by ourselves over PM or Messenger or something. I can't wait to really get into the movie and how (if at all) it changes the previous movies.

Only 21 more hours...

It's kind of fitting that TLJ is set in such a small time frame, it lets you come to terms with how easy - and quickly - you can lose everything. Yeah the individual components had pacing issues but the overall theme of "Man shit broke bad quick" is there.

got tickets for Sunday. Yeah I know, I'm here and I don't care. I've clicked every spoiler thing and you know what? I have no fucking clue what's going on so they don't make any sense.

Like I said in the other thread I have no idea how accurate or not the leaks were but even if totally right given full context on screen it hits the mark almost every single time.

Starting this now. I think it’s the fifth time. A slightly different perspective this time.

The cinematography is second to none. The 4k disc really helps show the beauty of the movie.

I was really struck by this as well. Some absolutely stunning shots.
