I will believe a lot of things in the name of fantasy, but asking me to believe that Werner Herzog can be killed by human* means is a bit much

Maybe? But I'm not sure that really tracks with when either property was written and/or in production.@SkitchP wrote:Honestly I think pulling the episode ahead had everything to do with

The force is always doing new shit.
Lightning.
Freezing blaster bolts.
Reading minds.
Projection.
We didn't need the Mandalorian to establish a new force power.

By the way, I'm all caught up. Chapter 7 is the best one since Chapter 3 (for me). Chow has cemented herself in my estimation and I'm thrilled that she'll be handling the Obi-Wan series.

And that run from 4 to 6 pretty much cements my belief that Favreau wrote this initially as a movie. There is probably a pretty fucking great 2 hour film in this 4 hours of TV.

Re: Star Wars : The Mandalorian (Disney+ 2019)
The idea that because an in-universe mythos was fleshed out and explained over the course of the entire three-movie original storyline and not all in one moment, it can therefore be whatever the current script wants it to be forever, is a bit self-destructive. It’s the type of decision that over time unravels into retrospective plot holes and cheap resolutions, and ultimately ends up necessitating reboots.B wrote:The force is always doing new shit.

take it to the A New Hope thread, palMcParadigm wrote:The idea that because an in-universe mythos was fleshed out and explained over the course of the entire three-movie original storyline and not all in one moment, it can therefore be whatever the current script wants it to be forever, is a bit self-destructive.
