Yeah. I miss the Wehrenberg fanfare and whispering...even though it was a tad goofy.Monkey_Driven wrote:Was it a Wehrenberg theater?blueviper wrote:No, I'm out in St. Charles. I don’t understand the difference in opening dates.
Why do we get it a day before america?
That being said. Someone made the observation on twitter that it’s been such a lovely day and seeing everyone’s reactions and celebrating it. But that’s all about to end in a couple of hours as america goes to see the film and twitter becomes a dumpster fire about it.
Ah well

When do movies typically premier in Ireland? Ours our usually on Fridays. Some big blockbusters used to do midnight releases on Thursday night/Friday morning, but now they've pushed them back to 6 pm or 7 pm on the Thursday. A great change.dimejinky99 wrote:I don’t understand the difference in opening dates.

I can’t speak to all films. But Star Wars specifically opens in loads of regions around the world a day before the states. No idea why that is
Opened here last night. I’ve been twice already an my pals in US and Canada are champing at the bit waiting to go see it

Can’t wait for you guys to see it.
It’s flawed. But the flaws will melt away upon further views.
It’s going to kick you in the balls so hard and so many times.
If I could recommend not even blinking especially in the final act.
And if you have to pee the bit when they go find babu frikk is optimal. You’ll miss serious shit otherwise.
