This movie is a giant "fuck you" to Rian Johnson though. That's my favorite part.

Definitely one of my least favorite parts. Felt like a response to a YouTuber or a Reddit thread.BurtReynolds wrote:This movie is a giant "fuck you" to Rian Johnson though. That's my favorite part.

Do people not watch movies at 7:30 anymore? Honestly I never do so I don't know.bune wrote:it's late and it's Thursday.

This movie didn't start until 8 though. Thirty minutes of trailers and commercials. Unbelievable.
I might have guessed too high in the box office thread.

At least Rian could put together some iconic shots. None of that here. I don't even think he's a bad filmmaker. Abrams is such a goddamn hack in comparison.Monkey_Driven wrote:Definitely one of my least favorite parts. Re: Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Well, I just watched the worst Star Wars movie.
This is exactly what you'd expect from a Disney-made Star Wars movie. Soulless. Pointless. Nonsensical. Shallow. Rehashed. Pandering. Corporate. It's like it was generated by algorithm.
J J has knocked this one out of the park. It's perfect. Eleven stars.

This movie is doing excellent over here. All cinemas are full. Biggest opening two days of the year.

I think it's probably worse than Attack of the Clones. At least that one had that droids vs clones battle with inventive designs. Good eye candy if nothing else. That one was really bad though.96583UP wrote:jar jar binks?BurtReynolds wrote:Well, I just watched the worst Star Wars movie.
