In my seat. 30 more minutes. Then probably 30 minutes of trailers. THEN it finally happens.

Honestly... I like that he's there more than Ahsoka. And you know how much I love Ahsoka. But Kanaan makes more sense.

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. Be aware. You’re gonna need a second viewing. First is blinding and overwhelming

What a way to cross the streams though. Serious.

Man, Alamo had like a goddamn HOUR of shit before the movie! I leaned over to my wife and mouthed "I'm gonna fucking lose my shit!" She laughed.

I can't remember the last time I was so excited to see a movie!

Speaking of Alamo...

They have vintage posters all over the place, in every hall.

For TRoS they replaced all of those usual posters with vintage Star Wars posters. It was amazing and totally enhanced the experience. Right outside the theater screening the movie was the vintage, original, Revenge of the Jedi poster. I was choking up even before the goddamn movie started. :luv:

Just got out of my first viewing:
Spoiler: show
Bringing back Palpatine was a mistake - he wasn't scary at all. I thought they delivered nicely on a lot of it - Leia was handled well and Rey Skywalker in spirit, not blood is good. It certainly wasn't boring and some of the humor was really good.

Glad they continued connecting Rey to Kylo via Force. Just a lot of people dying and coming back to life, plus the horcrux backstory feels forced. 3/5 stars. I liked TLJ better, but will need to see this one again. The light saber fights were awesome.

One other thing:
Spoiler: show
the old guy in the force awakens who gives away the piece to the map! "This will begin to make things right." How do you let that go unanswered?????

Did anything else happen after that scene? The post climax celebration orgy was especially long this time. I caught the blink-and-you-miss-it lesbian kiss, but I left after that.
