No one had chemistry with Poe. He’s a tree stump.VinylGuy wrote:I was expecting so much more than another bounty hunter. There was nothing memorable about her actually. We could have switched her with anyone and it would have the same emotional impact.

It's so interesting to me that you hate Poe so much. I think he's a major strength and one of the best parts of the ST.wease wrote:No one had chemistry with Poe. I like a lot of things of it. I put it on my review...and i havent seen anyone here just hating it for hate´s sake. Please joe, stop being sodurdencommatyler wrote:B wrote:Everyone's over the top with this movie. It's either brilliant or a disaster.
For me, it was cool, but there was some dumb stuff.![]()

I'm actively trying to emphasize the great stuff because that's the kind of guy I am and I hate hate for hate's sake. But yeah I'm totally in agreement that there is dumb stuff in this movie.
Ultimately, the dumb stuff doesn't matter as much as the stuff that works. We should all calm down, but it really is a good movie.
judgemental of other´s tastes. You think its a very good movie, others think it suck and they are telling us why.
Its ok.

That seems like a remarkably unfair representation of my opinion & reaction to others.

Went to see it again.
I cried like a baby. No surprises there.
But my housemate and my pal came too. They loved it.
I dunno. This might be up there with tfa for me. Pure fun adventure Star Wars.

the Felicity girl reminded me of that assassin from the prequels that gets killed by Fett. She had about as much depth and reason to be in the movie.wease wrote:No one had chemistry with Poe. Careful Burt. You almost sound like someone who has seen and likes these movies.

Those two lines were the ones i was referring. If im mistaken, sorry...but sometimes its hard to voice an opinion if its going to be buried in ¨hates´sake¨ or ¨enough trolling¨
Im a huge Star Wars fan an a i want to discuss the movie or my lack of love of Poe or Finn without felling bad about it.

This is bizarre to me. There is nothing in this thread, even from those that disagree that discourage your POV. However the opposite is undeniable. Those that like it are idiots snd simpletons and not allowed to like the movie.VinylGuy wrote:¨I'm actively trying to emphasize the great stuff because that's the kind of guy I am and I hate hate for hate's sake and We should all calm down, but it really is a good movie¨

How you see otherwise is absurd to me. Those of us that like it have no problem with those that don't. Meanwhile, those that hate it attack those that like it? Come on man. I've been respectful. No one here thinks your fandom is less than others.
Yet somehow I'm an asshole for responding to cynicism from Burt & McP & others? Really?
Come on man.

What's wrong with it? Why are you being like this?!
Oscar: We won!
Generic stock expartner: Yeah!
Oscar doing his best Han Solo impression: wanna fuck?
Generic stock ex-partner shakes head.
Durden weeps.
This scene is practically seen in every bad movie like this ever made!
The work (head nod) she does behind that helmet is miraculous. What?

I love how Burt can't post without insulting me. Shows class and reveals his character.
The real question is why Burt is so afraid of feelings? Why do others' reactions threaten you so much?
