BTW, dime, have gravity wells been mentioned in any other movie besides Solo prior to TROS?

It really stood out to me on the second view as a Solo reference. But maybe that's a recency thing?

I caught gravity wells, probably because I used to play the Star Wars RPG from late 80s/early 90s and they had star destroyers that created gravity wells.

Project luminous is nearly upon us and they have all kinds of stuff in store.

The whole palp thing and bringing him back is why I can totally understand the hatred for this movie and JJ.

Yeah, totally valid criticism for sure. I personally didn't hate that he came back but I do wish it had been handled a bit better.

Oh cool. I'm not a big gamer so I never saw any of that. Wonder then if the Kasdans put it in Solo as a reference to those games.

not sure if we are still using spoiler tags but just incase. i wont get a 2nd viewing most likely until its out on dvd, so there are lots of things im struggling to remember, the whole movie had so much to it, but the one thing i left a bit bummed about was Ben, i didnt like that he died, i just kinda wished there could be a story going forward of Ben and Rey being bad ass jedi, and maybe not having the redeeming hero die this time. so is there any chance he is still alive? if Leia hadnt disappeared as well i was kinda hoping he was somehow a force projection in the end battle. im sure there is plenty more for me to like and not like about the movie, but the main hang up currently is Ben being Dead

yeah, im kinda curious about them both vanishing at the same time, or about the same time, i wonder if it will be talked about at some point in the future.

anyway, it was lots of fun, again, too much for me to remember, multiple times i teared up but can only remember the moment with chewie right now. i cant wait till its available so i can watch it again
