I think really the only small issues I have with it now are:
1. The comical exchange between Hux and Poe in the beginning
2. Leia’s float through space (the execution of the idea)
3. Rose’s weak-ass kiss with Finn
Otherwise, damn, this might be my third favorite after ANH and ESB

No? Felt very deflated after rogue one. Took me a good while to like that one.
I just have other stuff going on and I’m so thankful I love the new one. It’s a helpful distraction

Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
There are parts I dislike in this that I *really* dislike, but the strong moments are so strong that it overshadows anything I hate.
Every scene with Daisy/Adam is gold. They really struck gold when they cast these two and their chemistry is off the charts. The force connection scenes are wonderful, each one not lasting that long but they each have a different tone/mood. The scene where they're sat opposite each other and touch hands is stunning. I could never imagine a scene like that working in Star Wars but they pulled it off beautifully.
The throne room fight is thrilling despite the silly choreography at times. The post-fight confrontation with Rey and Kylo is such a great way to end following their amazing teamwork.
I don't care what the haters say about Luke but he's perfect in this. A hero who has gone through shit and he's in such a bad place compared to when we last saw him in ROTJ. It makes perfect sense that after what he did to Ben he would hate himself and retreat into isolation. And even though he does help at the end, it's not the typical 'hero saves the day' moment that you would expect. He's an old man, he can't just rock up and fight Kylo Ren. Physically, he'd be no match but he can defeat him mentally which is just perfect.
Canto Bight still sucks, I don't like Poe in this after his wonderful turn in TFA. Snoke dying halfway through is brilliant. I really hope in years to come people will come around to this film and realise what a great piece of art it is.

Canto Bight just needed to be a little shorter. As a scene it is incredibly thematically important. But I would have cut it down by 20 or 30%.

There must have been a lot better ways to show whatever theme they wanted to show. Even the politics they insert into it feels malplaced.

Benicio is probably my least favourite thing about this film.
Just can’t warm to his performance at all. An astounding actor. And he went with that?
