Just don’t ask her for editing tips; I can’t watch her videos because her cuts are very distractingBurtReynolds wrote:If I wrote a screenplay, I'd want to run it by her first to see if it sucked. LOL. Yeah why do movies (and TV) do that? So you can remember character names? It’s pretty blatant and annoying.durdencommatyler wrote:The lesson here is that writers need to stop having characters say other characters names all the time. The one exception to this, of course, is Alexis saying "David" on Schitt's Creek.
Exception, like you said, for Schitt’s Creek.
“David!”

Could you all compile your movie making expertise into one single readable pdf document?
Please?

He’s almost there. One more month will be twelve weeks. I’ve been intense about following the vets instructions on his recovery.
His other dad called today to tell me he’s not coming back to Ireland til March at least rather than January so I’m kinda fucked up about it. Onwards. All I can do.

I know RM doesn't have a ton of love for Kevin Smith, and I totally get that. But his recap of The Rise of Skywalker on his YouTube channel is so great. It's hilarious and emotional.

Still topping the box office. Posting similar numbers to The Last Jedi over the new year days, but TLJ had been out a little longer.
