you've missed nothing besides drummer debates and bad jokes.
He also missed Ed surfing the universe....

Basically...

If you're not a Matt Cameron fanboi, get out. Because he's the best songwriter in the band. :ohyeah!:

Yeah, but he also was pretty proud of Inside Job.
And Turning Mist.
Who the fuck replies to a post made 30 pages ago?
This guy. And Joey.
though in this thread, 30 pages ago was probably only a few hours ago

- Europeans aren't excited about the album
- IlluminEddie is the densest poster in RM
- Stip and Harmless make a lot of excuses
- Pot is legal in the Netherlands
look, if someone came out and said this was the greatest album ever, having hear mind your manners and lightning bolt, we'd all assume this was backspacer and everyone but me and 4 other people would be miserable. Instead it is apparently an album with some potentially difficult songs that were heard in a noisy bar that the people said they need some time to digest. this is also a sign that we should be discouraged, even though this is theoretically exactly the right kind of response to have to the sort of music people claim they want the band to write. It is true that this doesn't sound like LB, FD, or MYM, but I've gotten the sense from the reviews that these are, if not outliers, not indicative of the album as a whole.

I'd prefer to hear someone come out and say that this was amazing, but I've never had that reaction to a single pearl jam album on first listen, and I wouldn't expect to find that here, especially under these circumstances.

I am continuing to maintain, as I've basically done throughout, that these reviews are useful for giving us a sense of what types of songs these are, and that's it. I said that before we heard anything.

I actually took a few sections to realise that was the uke version with some keyboard over it. How'd you do that Mike?

the very real possibility that IlluminEddie is a Harry Lime second account has only now just occurred to me

If it sounded anything like that I would love it.

Mike, can you make an 8-bit version with a normal voice over?

Maybe they just don't show their excitement because Germans are like that.

I wouldn't know how to remove the Uke if thats even possible. I just sometimes fool around in Cubase a little. I don't know much about audio-stuff.

I'm totally fine that this forum criticises the shit out of things, but I'm not really into criticising the shit out of music that doesn't exist to me yet.
